Join Colorado Pet Pantry as we host an informational table at the 8th Annual Denver Pet Parade & Costume Contest during the Tennyson Street Fall Fest on Saturday, October 18th, in Denver. This family-friendly event will feature a large pet costume contest, raising money for the Colorado Pet Pantry, thanks to Denver Nook.  The event will also feature local vendors, live music, great food, kid activities, and much more!

On Saturday, the event will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We will arrive at 9:00 AM to set up our tent, table, step-and-repeat photo stand, and informational materials about Colorado Pet Pantry. During the event, we will answer questions and actively recruit potential volunteers and donors.  We may also be assisting Denver Nook during the pet parade.

This will be an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the ever-changing Colorado weather and bring something to keep you hydrated.

We ask that volunteers leave their pets at home.

You do not need any prior Colorado Pet Pantry volunteer experience to work at these events. Our lead volunteer will help you learn as you go, and we only ask that you bring a positive attitude and be outgoing toward any interested patrons. These events are a vital part of networking and growing our organization.
